First time ever arriving in a city without a plan for a place to stay. First time ever renting a Mazda 3. First time ever driving around for 2 hours to find a hotel that isn't crazy expensive. First time getting a price better than the best price I could imagine (yay Sandman Hotels!!). Second time being in Calgary, but first time thinking that I should stop hating Calgary. Plus, it's nice getting an extra 2 hours.
